Sweet Journey 17 Foundation, Inc.

This Refund and Transfer Policy (this “Policy“) governs gala tickets and sponsorship packages purchased from or through Sweet Journey 17 Foundation, Inc. (the “Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our“). This Policy supplements, and should be read together with, the Foundation’s Terms of Service Agreement. By purchasing a gala ticket or sponsorship package, you agree to this Policy.

1. NO REFUNDS

All purchases of gala tickets and sponsorship packages are final. The Foundation does not provide refunds for gala tickets or sponsorship packages under any circumstances, including non-attendance, cancellation by the purchaser, or changes to a purchaser’s plans. Because the Foundation is a non-profit organization and applies purchase proceeds toward its charitable mission, amounts paid are non-refundable. The portion of any purchase that exceeds the fair market value of goods or services received may be treated as a charitable contribution; purchasers should consult their own tax advisors regarding deductibility.

2. TRANSFERS ALWAYS PERMITTED

Gala tickets and sponsorship packages are transferable. A purchaser may always transfer a gala ticket or sponsorship package to another individual or entity, at any time before the applicable event, subject only to the administrative and notice requirements in Section 3. The Foundation will not unreasonably withhold, condition, or delay recognition of a valid transfer.

3. HOW TO TRANSFER

To transfer a gala ticket or sponsorship package, the purchaser should notify the Foundation in writing before the applicable event and identify the transferee and the ticket(s) or package being transferred. The Foundation may request reasonable information to confirm the transfer and update its records, and may require the transferee to agree to the terms applicable to the ticket or package. A transfer is effective once the Foundation has received the required notice and information. Sponsorship benefits transfer with the sponsorship package as they exist at the time of transfer, subject to any benefit that is, by its nature, personal to the original sponsor or already used.
