A few things
you might wonder.

Who does Sweet Journey 17 help?
Families whose children are facing extended hospital stays. Requests are subject to current program guidelines and available resources.
What help may be available?
Meals, temporary lodging near the hospital, transportation, parking, and approved everyday essentials.
How does a request begin?
An appropriate hospital social worker, case manager, family-resource professional, or care-team professional can submit a referral with the family’s knowledge and authorization. Families may contact us for help finding the right starting point.
Is assistance guaranteed?
No. Each request is reviewed under current program guidelines and depends on available resources. Submitting a request is not an approval or a promise of funding.
Is there a fixed income threshold?
The existing program guidance considers immediate circumstances and the disruption caused by hospitalization, rather than relying only on a traditional definition of financial hardship. Contact us to discuss current guidelines.
Where do you provide support?
Please contact the foundation for current service-area and eligibility guidance before relying on assistance.
Will our family’s story be shared?
Submitting a referral does not give permission to use your family’s information for fundraising or publicity. Any public storytelling requires separate permission.
How do I donate?
Use our Donate page to open the foundation’s existing secure Zeffy donation form.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes, within the guidelines of U.S. law. Our State Nonprofit Disclosure has the foundation’s registration details and EIN.
Can I help as a volunteer or business?
Yes. Contact us about event volunteering, sponsorships, approved in-kind support, or a community fundraiser.
